12/28/06 Johannesburg

Ok, I made it. 15 hours of direct flight from D.C to J-town. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. It was actually enjoyable, they (SAA) fed me good and there were tons of free movies to watch. Before I left D.C I took a cab to Wal-mart to get some passport photos & bug spray. I get back to the airport ($30 quid later) and security threw my bug spray out... I wasn't even thinking.

Anyway, flew into Johannesburg & went through "immigration" & customs and all of that fun stuff. Afterwards, took a shuttle straight to the Hotel. Oh my God, the room was so freakin nice. Reminded me of Vegas only south African style. I went to a nice dinner and got a fat steak (85R) and had "chocolate soup" for desert. It was very good and South African Airways paid for it all. I honestly am impressed with this airline, very pampered.

Haha, the waiter asked me if I was the guy from the "Tomato Juice" commercial. I said you must be mistaken, I've only done amature porn and it never made it to mass production. Anyway, what's funny is this guy insisted that I was from that commercial.
