3/6/07 A Monday that turned out good

Went to a bad ass house concert last night with Sammy_D to see Greg Greenway, a talented folk artist. I've never experienced such an intement and very personal concert like this and in such a beautiful house to boot :) I got a little nervous when I first got there because these Sundilla folks are always nearly twice my age but it was all good, Louis Loving's wife was there so at least I knew somebody. Sammy said it felt like a swinger party because the house was dimly lit and red wine was being served.

I must admit Greg was REALLY good and I wouldn't doubt if he had some black injected into his family somewhere down the line. He could carry a note just as good as an obesse opera singer from the motherland. This guy was obsessed with the note B flat and wasn't afraid to hide it. His music was not only moving but his intermediate stories in between songs were cool too.

This whole concert was completely random and spur of the moment which turned out to be an incredible experience. I was telling Sammy on the way home that when you don't think and just act.... thats when you're living. Random.... spontaneous..... Forcing yourself out of your own element can be really fun.
