03/14/06 last night

Went to the Movie Gallery film festival last night, cool as hell. Eddra got me into the VIP and their was tons O' food, it was all so good, i couldn't stop eating... Anyway, I met some very cool people, this one dude, Jeff, took a Greyhound 30 hours all the way from Conneticut to see his film win. He did in fact win the entire thing and we wound up celebrating by going bowling ??? I was in charge of showing him Auburn and we wound up bowling....... It was fun talking with him because he was an intellectual, very full of life & dreams. Before he won first place, I said I'd buy him an Irish carbomb if he won, so we went to Bumpers and all they had was AmberBock, so he got to try an Amberbock bomb instead. It's funny when you meet someone that cool and you have stuff in common & get along. We were both big fans of The Big Lebowski so he got a whiterussian...

Jeff said that his Opelika cab driver was insane, like Dave Chappel's uncle or something. This guy was freaking Jeff out saying, "If you win man, here's my number, we'll go to Waffle House and celebrate and then go get some pussy.... When Jeff told me the "Waffles & Pussy" story I nearly hit the floor laughing.


Last night was a much needed break for me, I'm highly stressed from school. I find that if I do the things I really want to do, and not think about the consequences or repercussions, I'm happy. Yesterday, after classes Bailey and I went running when usually after classes I go straight to work. I did what I wanted to do and everything worked out just fine. I was an hour late to work, but my work hours are such a grey area anyway
